Which type of Loyalty Card?

Stamp Collection (Retention focused)

This is the most straight forward a simple loyalty card that we offer. An excellent strategy for retaining customers, this works on the premise, 'Buy a certain amount and earn a reward'. Commonly used for coffee shops and services this can be seen as, 'Buy 9 coffees and get the 10th FREE' or 'Get your nails manicured 5 times and receive a complimentary pedicure'.

Perfect for: cafes and service based businesses

Cash-Back (Retention Focused)

This incentive utilises the concept that when you have earned a certain number of loyalty points then you can claim cash back from your next purchase via a discount or monetary reward. This strategy is seen quite commonly for occasionally bought products at a higher price range. A large cosmetics order, a specialist wine purchase, pet food etc. Essentially if you send enough money to hit this points level, you will receive money back or a discount on your next order.

Perfect for: larger spend and repeat orders

Reward Points (Retention focused)

A Tier based reward card which is a bit more versatile that the basic stamp card. It rewards customers with loyalty points which can be collected with each visit or purchase. After certain tiered levels are achieved, different rewards can be claimed, eg: collect 50 points and receive free dessert with your next main course.

Perfect for: Restaurants and most Retail Businesses

Discount (Retention Focused)

Discount cards are an old classic incentive. They can be tiered and given to different customers. Each time a card is used with a purchase, depending on the reward tier of the card, a discount on the services will be applied. This is often seen in petrol stations especially with trade accounts who show a discount card and pay less as part of the scheme.

Perfect for: VIP customers, partner businesses or Friends & Family

Membership (Retention focused)

Simple and effective. These are essentially used as membership cards. Customers can purchase or be allocated them to use as access to particular products or services. A perfect example are gyms or fitness studios. The customer purchases membership at the start of the month, gets allocated a membership card and the scan this each time they visit the gym to gain access.

Perfect for: Gyms, Spas, VIP areas of bars

Coupon (Acquisition Focused)

Coupon cards are a brilliant way to acquire new customers or clients. Simply load up a reward onto a card, get the potential customer to download the card via QR code or website link and then they can claim the reward when they visit or spend at your business eg, get a free coffee when you scan this card at our shop before the end of the month.

Perfect for: retail businesses of all kinds

Multipass (Acquisition focused)

Another useful acquisition technique. Multi passes are similar to coupons except they can be used multiple times or for multiple rewards that are usually redeemed on different visits. These could be emailed out at the start of a month and redeemed by customers at each visit throughout that month.

Perfect for: Garden centres, restaurants and fast food outlets

Certificate (Acquisition Focused)

A certificate or gift voucher can be purchased ahead of time or as a gift for someone else. The customer can then redeem it when they visit the business. Obviously these work really well on special occasions as Birthday presents or Christmas gifts. They can be purchased easily online or set up over the phone and the recipient just downloads the certificate to their phone and redeems it at a date and time that suits.

Perfect for: gifts for service businesses like hairdressers or Beauty Spas
